This course focuses on key theological themes and issues in the writings of the Apostle Paul. Instead of an exegetical approach that examines Paul’s writings in the original Greek, this course takes a thematic approach to explore some of the most debated and complex passages in his letters. Topics will include law and grace, salvation, the nature of the Church, ethics, and eschatology, with attention given to their historical context and various scholarly perspectives.
