Exegesis of Isaiah 40–55

This course is designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary for advanced research in Old Testament studies and Hebrew, with a particular focus on preparing students for thesis or dissertation work at the master's and doctoral levels. The course will introduce specialized tools for engaging with Hebrew poetry, literary criticism, and theological interpretation, providing students with a deeper understanding of these aspects. Additionally, the course will guide students toward more faithful and insightful application of these tools in Bible reading, teaching, and preaching, fostering a scholarly approach to understanding and communicating the Old Testament.
